Yes it really has been nine years since the first London Meet. As it's the summer and at a weekend we might look at moving on to another bar around 20:00pm (suggestions welcome).

To help find the right group quickly look for the seasonal item which this time is a load of holiday brochures and a card.

The pub is nice and big and has two bars (one on street level and another basement bar downstairs). We will be located in the main upstairs bar and as near to the main entrance as we can be. When you enter the main door there are some tables directly ahead in the corner and we aim to be in or close to that area.

The London Splunch is for people from the wam community to meet other fellow wammers in person and put faces to the names. It is about having some food and drink, building trust and friendships and generally getting to know each other a little better in real life.

Wear what you want, do what you want, get wet or messy outside if you fancy it. Just remember we are in a public place, all you need to ask yourself is are your actions generally considered acceptable in public. Only you will know the answer. If it’s a yes then go for it. Just keep any messy business outside the pub!
